LOUIS, MO) – Ellis Dental, dedicated to being the premier dental practice in the St. Louis region, is proud to announce it has recently relocated to more than 3,200 square feet of beautifully designed, newly constructed office space. Built specifically with the needs of their more than 1,900 patients in mind, the practice’s new office is located at 10296 Big Bend Boulevard. To create the up-to-date, contemporary space, Ellis Dental collaborated with the renowned Unthank Design Group of Lincoln, Neb. It is one of only two offices in the St. Louis region created by the architectural firm, which specializes in best-in-class dental-office design.
“We could not be happier with our new headquarters,” Dr. Holly Ellis, founder and owner of Ellis Dental, said. “The goal of the space, the result of months of detailed planning and construction, was to create an optimal atmosphere to serve the specialized needs of both the patients and staff of Ellis Dental. I am happy to report, based on the initial feedback, we have successfully accomplished our goal.”
The office space, bathed in natural light and decorated in a cool, calming color palette, features an open floor plan, black and white photos of patients’ families, and large windows. Additional patient-centric elements, such as remote controlled massage treatment chairs in each operatory, contribute to the overall contemporary, relaxing atmosphere of the space. Throughout the seven examination rooms, each of which contains state-of-the-art equipment, Ellis and her team of hygienists and dental assistants can easily access digital patient records and X-rays, as well as needed treatment equipment, without leaving the room. This allows Ellis and her staff to maximize their service delivery, while eliminating undesirable down time for the patients.

The attention to detail paid by Ellis and her staff when choosing the design elements of the practice’s new office space is evident from the moment a patient walks through the front door. The reception area contains a unique children’s area featuring a television monitor, to make wait times pass quickly.
Within the patient treatment areas, each operatory is equipped with both intraoral and caries cameras. Two built-in computer monitors in each room allow Ellis Dental’s staff members to access X-rays, as well as photos and charts to facilitate patient education. The office also has a full, in-house lab to perform needed work. In addition, Ellis Dental’s office includes a private consultation room. The space is an ideal setting for patients and staff to discuss their recommended treatments, have their questions answered, learn more about the team at Ellis Dental, and make financial arrangements if needed. Construction of Ellis Dental’s new office, which was completed by Steffle and Sons, took four months.
